Interviews - No Sentiments Please

Last Thursday(27-Dec-07) , I happen to take Technical Interview (Dotnet & SQL Server) for 4+ experience lady candidate . She didn't answer most of the basic questions in dotnet and she answered few questions in sql server. Our questions were very basic. We have decided to reject right way.

After the interview, I was asking why she was looking for change she told her husband has expired last month and after that question she was about burst into Tears and she manged to control. Myself & another person were also dumb struck after her response.

But no places for sentiments in IT, you have perform to get through. One thing I appreciate about that the person is her courage after the huge set back in personal life. I pray god to give strength and determination for that person.

A Visit to BooLoga Vaikuntam - Srirangam

Last Thursday(20-Dec-2007) was Vaikunta Ekadesi. All the Vaishanava temples was jam package with devotees visting the Paramapada Vasal in the early morning. Last saturday(22-Dec-2007) we were blessed to visit BooLoga Vaikuntam - Srirangam. We started around 6.15 AM in the morning through WagonR car(very small car for 4 people to go for such a distance) and we reached around 2.00 PM. After 30 minutes we started to temple and came out of the temple around 7.30 PM after having wonderful dharsan of Lord Ranganthar. The Muthangi seva was awesome and we also crossed Paramapada Vasal. I don't have words in English or Tamil to describe the beauty of the Lord Sri Ranga.

As Paramapada Vasal will be opened for 10 days after Vaikunta Ekadesi. Please visit the temple to get the blessing of Lord Sri Ranga.

Bheema Hit Number

The latest song that impressed me most Bheema "Mudhal Mazahi" sung by Magathi & Prasanna Ragavendar, Hariharan . Magathi rocks in this song.

Check this the song in youtube
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DKA9KdtVSZE

Harris Jeyaraj is doing terrific. Harris's most of the tunes has been hit right from "Minnale".

All the songs sung by Bombay Jayashree for Harris Jeyaraj is a hit. Bombay Jayashree is another great singer I would always like to listen to.

Left & Right Side Of Brain

Recently I learned from Covey book, that left side of brain deal with the Analysis(logical thinking) and the most creative part of the brain is right side. Covey has suggested for better effectiveness to manage from left side of the Brain and to lead from right side of the brain.

The message is clear, to be effective one should use both right & left of the side of the brain.

Recent Reading

I bought the book Seven Habits of Highly Effective people by Stephen Covey some time back and I haven't read it completely yet. But I got a chance to read the first 2 habits which I will share.

1) Being Proactive.
2) Begin with a end in mind.

If time permits, I will explain in detail about the above 2 points.

Must read for every one.

1) Learn Tamil properly so that we can pronounce AZHWARGAL Pasuram properly with out stutter
