Australia Winning the ICC Champion Trophy

Australia managed to Win ICC Champion Trophy after losing the Ashes 2009 battle to England. It was good come back by Australia Team. Shane Watson has delivered the goods when it mattered. Ricky Ponting has shown more maturity in batting. But Australia needs match winners in bowling department particularly in Test Matches who can take 20 wickets.

Australia faces real test when they play India in the sub continent pitches for 7 one day internationals.

Australia managed to retain ICC world Number 1 rating after the win over in Champion Trophy.

CB Series 2008

Australia is not playing well currently in CB Series, India if they can raise their game can beat Aussies to win the cup. The Poor form of Ponting, Symonds, Hadyen seems to be worry for Aussies. Australian bowlers are doing the trick most of the time in the series.
India too has batting problems with Tendulkar, Gambhir, Yuraj not playing well. Ishant is the pick of the Indian bowlers.

Kudos to Adam Gilchirst

It was sad that Gilchirst has announced his retirement from international cricket. I still remember that when Steve waugh asked Gilchirst to open the one day innings for Australia, from that day he has been teriffic wicket keeper batsman for Australia. His contribution to Australian Cricket is Phenomenal. Cricket fans all over the world watch TV and go to cricket grounds to see this terrfic wicket keeper batsman play.

I must say he is one of the greatest wicket keeper batsman played this game of cricket. He was nightmare for the most of the fast & spin bowler.

I personally liked Gilchirst because of his terrific talent to play cricketing shots all over the ground. One of the few Australians who doesn't sledge and play the cricket straight. Cricket Australia will defintely miss your services and you have silenced all your critics.

India Vs Pak ODI Series

Good to know Team India has won the ODI Series vs Pak. I couldn't watch any of the matches. Yuraj & Sachin are in terffic form. Hope they continue the same for the Aussie Tour. But I must admit Pak is weak side now, Aussies taught India a lesson in ODI Series, though they might have lost the 20-2o match. Let us wait & watch how India perform down under. Srilankans are already facing defeat in the 2nd Test as I write.

India vs Aus Test Series should be good one to watch out for.

Aussies Win world cup

As I have mentioned in several of my earlier blogs, Aussies has demolished all other cricketing nations and won the world cup. Kudos to Punter Ponting and Team. What an ininings played by Gilchirst. Indians Cricket Team should be made to watch the match again & again. Kudos to Mcgrath for the services he has rendered to Aus Cricket Team. People may say it is dull world cup with Ind, Pak lossing earlier. But Aus with 29 Successive win in World Cup proved it wrong.

Aussie on the way to Win 3 world cup in succession

There is no stopping of Aussies. Yesterday Aussie crushed NZ comprehensively. Hayden performed yet again. I am sure as i wrote in my earlier blogs Aussie will win this world cup. Only concern for Aussies is their bowling. S Tiat is very erratic but wicket taking bowler. Symonds is yet to fire with the bat. Hogg is good and diffcult to pick, but Aussie may be another bowler in warne class. Sad Mcgrath, pigeon as nick named is retiring after world cup. What a bowler he has been, he has served the Australian cricket for more than 15years.

Aussies have shown the world how cricket should be played I suggest all the cricket community around the should learn from Australia. They dominated world cricket for more than an decade. I would go ahead say better than west indies of 1980s

India Lose Yet Again

India lost the match against SL yday and looks like well & truly out of world cup2007.
Sachin, Ganguly and Dravid time to retire and pack your bags. People may think Chappell hasn't contributed anything but the fact is that players has to perform in the field but the coach can only tell. Sehwag should also be sacked.

The Billion Fans in India are very much disappointed. It is time for investigation why Indians can perform only in India and not anywhere else in the world. This problem has been there since begining nobody addressed it properly that is root cause. Indian Players choke at critcal games and found wanting in most of times in mostof the important matches.

Sachin, Ganguly and Dravid may scored 34,000 ODI runs between them but that is useless when it was needed.

Indian Cricket Team are paper tigers and proved the same in the world cup. Changing coaches may not help because whoever the coach same is going to happen unless Indian Cricket Team changes its attitude.
